Sergio Perez diz que a Red Bull deve esperar pelas oportunidades perfeitas para garantir a vitória no Grande Prêmio da Espanha.

Sergio Perez secured eighth place in the qualifying for the Spanish GP, but due to a penalty, he will start in eleventh on the grid.

Sergio Perez, Red Bull Racing driver, urged patience from his team and urged them to seize the opportunities that arise after a challenging qualifying session in Barcelona. Despite performing well, Perez was penalized and will have to start from eleventh position instead of his original eighth place.

Red Bull Racing failed to secure pole position for the third consecutive race this season. Although qualifying has generally been a strong point for the team, [McLaren driver’s name] managed to clinch pole position in Barcelona by just one hundredth of a second, leaving Red Bull behind.

Sergio Perez acknowledged that the Spanish GP will be a difficult race for him due to grid penalties and challenging conditions. However, he maintains confidence in the improvements and changes made by Red Bull and believes he can have a successful race during the 66-lap event.

Perez currently occupies fifth place in the drivers’ championship, but has failed to score points in the past two race weekends due to unfortunate retirements. Now, he aims to achieve a more fruitful result in Barcelona and secure a place on the podium.

Sergio Perez shared insights on his performance in Barcelona, where he finished in eighth place. This was the first time in three races that the Mexican driver reached Q3 after a tough period for the Red Bull team.

During the current weekend, Sergio Perez delivered a better performance compared to previous races, but fell short of the leaders by nearly four tenths of a second. He admitted that his performance in the final sector of Q3 was not up to par, significantly affecting his lap times.

The lack of new tires and the increase in wind speed at the end of Q3 also added to the challenges of qualifying in Barcelona, according to Perez. He emphasized that the margins for success on Sunday will be very narrow, setting the stage for a highly competitive race at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
