Fernando Alonso ridicularizado pelos fãs por sair cedo do Q2 no Grande Prêmio em casa.

Fernando Alonso had a disappointing performance in the qualifying session in Barcelona.

The Spanish Grand Prix weekend is known for its exciting races and passionate fans. However, Fernando Alonso’s career change in recent years has affected his results, and this trend continued in the qualifying session. Alonso, driving for Aston Martin, qualified in 11th place, which led to criticism from fans who felt he was lacking pace.

Alonso has a reputation for being able to push his car to the limit and achieve impressive results. Last season, he showed flashes of his talent by challenging the top teams for victories. However, this season, with the lack of development from Aston Martin, Alonso’s pace seems to have diminished. This was evident in the qualifying session for his home race, where he failed to reach the top 10.

Fans took to social media to express their disappointment and mock Alonso’s performance. Some even suggested that he should have retired in 2013, as they believe he has passed his prime and is no longer competitive.

One of the main points of criticism was that both Alpine drivers managed to reach the top 10, while Alonso, in a supposedly faster car, did not. Fans questioned his ability and suggested that he should have retired years ago.

Although Alonso was disappointed with his qualifying result, he had a closed-door meeting with FIA President Sulayem. The meeting was about concerns regarding the decisions of the stewards and the perceived favoritism towards certain nationalities. Alonso spoke highly of Sulayem, stating that he is open to discussions and values the opinions of the drivers.

Despite the meeting with Sulayem, the focus in the paddock remains on Alonso’s poor performances in qualifying. His teammate even claimed to be better than him. Alonso now faces the challenge of proving his critics wrong and asserting his leadership within the Aston Martin team.
