Aston Martin fala sobre rumores envolvendo Adrian Newey.

Mike Krack responded to rumors about Adrian Newey’s possible entry into Aston Martin after his departure from Red Bull. The speculation gained momentum when reports emerged that Newey had recently visited the Aston Martin factory. While previously associated with Ferrari and Mercedes, it appears that the Silverstone-based team is also in the running.

Krack acknowledged that several notable figures, including Newey, have recently been associated with Aston Martin, which has only increased the team’s appeal and credibility. He credited the team president for his vision and the support of partners like Honda and Aramco. The 52-year-old expressed curiosity about how the project will progress and believes that widespread interest and solid partnerships have given the project a significant amount of credibility.

Reflecting on the past, Krack mentioned that if his team had been connected to such prominent names a few years ago, it would not have been taken seriously. He expressed gratitude for the interest and attention his project is receiving, as it highlights the importance and credibility of their efforts. The possible addition of Adrian Newey, known for his expertise in aerodynamics, to the team has only increased excitement.

Krack noted some interesting similarities between Mercedes and Aston Martin. He observed that both teams started the season with similar race performance, but Mercedes made significant improvements race after race. In contrast, Aston Martin has struggled to keep up with the pace and progress of the silver arrows.

Krack highlighted that Mercedes uses tools and methods similar to his team, suggesting that Aston Martin can learn from them to improve their performance. However, he also emphasized that his team has gained a better understanding of their car, allowing them to make better decisions regarding the setup for races. This deeper understanding should lead to better results in the future.

Undoubtedly, Krack emphasized the importance of learning from other teams and constantly seeking improvements to remain competitive. Aston Martin fans eagerly await the team’s return to action, hoping to see their drivers score points in the next race in Barcelona.
