“Flavio Briatore responde criticamente aos que questionam seu retorno à F1.”

Flavio Briatore made it clear that he is not bothered by criticism when returning to Alpine during the 2024 season. Alpine announced on Friday that Briatore has returned to the team as an Executive Consultant. It is worth noting that the FIA had previously banned the Italian for life due to his involvement in the notorious 2008 scandal, but this ban was lifted in 2013.

When asked if he had a message for those who are unhappy with his return to Formula 1, Briatore simply responded with a strong swear word. As for his plans to return to the sport for a long period of time, he stated that it was not something that particularly interested him. The 74-year-old Italian emphasized his familiarity and respect for Renault President Luca De Meo, who approached him to become an Executive Consultant after facing challenges with the team’s performance. This decision was the result of discussions that took place over two to three months, if not more.

Briatore exudes a great sense of motivation and confidence in his abilities. He believes he can have a positive impact on the team and guide them back to success. He finds joy in the competitive nature of the sport and aims to improve the team’s performance by injecting new energy into their efforts.

During his interaction with the media, Briatore made it clear that he is not assuming the role of team boss, as that position is already occupied by someone else. He expressed his intention to work for everyone in the team, including Luca De Meo, to achieve the best possible performance. The 74-year-old Italian has no intention of dealing with tasks such as changing tires or driving the car. His main focus is to make the team competitive, and he believes this can be achieved within a two-year timeframe. Briatore’s desire to positively contribute to the team is evident, and he praised the effective leadership of team boss Famin, as well as the strong teamwork of the organization. He is confident that they will bring everything together perfectly to achieve success.

It is clear that Flavio Briatore has returned to F1 to offer his assistance to his friends at Alpine as an executive consultant in their quest for success. Fans eagerly await Alpine’s performance in the upcoming seasons, as Briatore has brought hope to them.
