Renovado BMW X3 traz híbrido mais potente

BMW has revealed the fourth generation of the X3 SUV, which comes with a new look, a redesigned interior, and a more powerful hybrid version. What is certain is that the revamped X3 will not have an iX3 electric model, as BMW will replace that model with the new Neue Klasse X.

Thus, the revamped X3 is still based on the CLAR platform, which has been revised and allows the SUV to have a length of 4.75 meters, 34 mm more than its predecessor, a width of 1.92 m, 29 mm more, and a height of 1.66 m, which is 25 mm less than the predecessor.

Visually, the renewed X3 stands out for an exterior design characterized by a raised hood, a grille with vertical and horizontal bars, depending on the version, and a lighting signature with LED technology and a new L-shaped design.

As standard, the renewed X3 is equipped with 18” alloy wheels (19” on the X3 30e xDrive). Optionally, 20” and 21” wheels are available.

The optional M Sport package ensures a more dynamic image with 19” M alloy wheels, as well as specific details from BMW’s sports division. On the other hand, the M Pro package adds M brakes with red calipers and Iconic Glow contour lighting.

No interior, the highlight is the debut of the curved screen in the X3, similar to the one used in the 5 Series, which combines the instrument panel with the infotainment screen, and is equipped with the BMW Operating System 9 operating system that allows over-air updates and access to music and video streaming applications, news, augmented reality navigation, and video games, as well as compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

In addition, climate control is centered around a new ‘Interaction Bar’ used in the 7 Series. Also noteworthy are the heated and electrically adjustable sports seats with a new design, upholstered in Econeer.

In terms of space, BMW highlights the increased luggage capacity of 20 liters, now reaching a capacity of 579 liters, which can be expanded to 1700 liters with the rear seats folded down.

In terms of engines, the X3 30e xDrive is equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine combined with an electric motor integrated into the eight-speed Steptronic transmission, which generates a combined power of 258 hp and 400 Nm of maximum torque.

Benefiting from the latest BMW eDrive technology, the new BMW X3 30e xDrive announces an electric range of 81 to 90 kilometers.

The X3 M50 xDrive flagship model features the most powerful inline six-cylinder gasoline engine ever installed in an M Performance model. The 3.0-liter M TwinPower turbo unit is paired with 48V mild-hybrid technology. Its maximum power of 398 hp is delivered to the road through an eight-speed Steptronic Sport transmission and intelligent BMW xDrive all-wheel drive. This version accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds.

The M sports suspension, variable steering, M brakes, 20” M alloy wheels, and an M sport differential on the rear axle are part of the standard equipment of the X3 M50 xDrive. The M adaptive suspension with electronically controlled dampers is available as an option.

In addition to these two versions, the refreshed BMW SUV is also available in the variant, the X3 20d xDrive, which uses a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine that develops 197 hp, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 in 7.7 seconds. Additionally, the diesel variant X3 20d xDrive will arrive later, equipped with a six-cylinder inline engine capable of delivering 197 hp of power.
