VÍDEO: Kyle Busch fala sobre especulações de retorno da JGR enquanto Martin Truex Jr. revela aposentadoria.

JGR is currently actively searching for the best candidate to fill the vacancy left by Martin Truex Jr. The experienced driver, who races for Joe Gibbs Racing, recently announced his retirement at the end of the 2024 season. Truex Jr. is looking to explore new opportunities outside the fast-paced world of NASCAR, creating a prime opening at JGR for the 2025 season.

While there are several up-and-coming drivers vying for the position, Joe Gibbs Racing may also consider hiring a more experienced driver. Among the circulating rumors, a name that has emerged is that of a former JGR driver who joined RCR in 2022. This driver, who spent 15 years with the Toyota giants and won two Cup titles, is reportedly considering a comeback.

Addressing the speculation regarding his future, Kyle Busch, who currently drives the No:8 Chevy for RCR, expressed openness to the possibility of returning to JGR. However, he confirmed that this will not happen in 2025. Busch affirmed his commitment to Richard Childress Racing for the upcoming season and emphasized his dedication to helping the team regain its former glory.

Regarding the rumors involving Joe Gibbs Racing, the future Hall of Fame member clarified that he has not yet been approached by JGR regarding a possible move. He also acknowledged that his contract with RCR includes a clause that prohibits him from engaging in discussions with other teams during this time of the year.

In the 2025 driver market, the No:19 seat at JGR will undoubtedly be highly coveted as it offers the best opportunity to compete for the championship title. It will be intriguing to see who Joe Gibbs will choose to replace their retired veteran driver.
