Adrian Newey revela o lado negativo das próximas regras da F1.

Renowned Formula 1 expert, Adrian Newey, expressed concerns about the upcoming 2026 regulations, stating that they may present significant challenges for the teams. Newey, a highly respected figure in the sport, has led several teams to championship victories and possesses a deep understanding of the new regulations. However, he raised questions about the restrictive nature of the regulations and the focus on zero emissions from the exhaust.

Newey’s exceptional contributions to Red Bull’s chassis during the ground effect era resulted in remarkable success for the team. His expertise played a crucial role in their dominance throughout the season. However, with Newey’s departure from Red Bull and rumors of a possible move to Ferrari, the team’s performance in the 2026 season may suffer, while Ferrari may experience a resurgence.

The 2026 regulations have faced criticism from various individuals, including Newey. The head of Red Bull emphasized that the engine regulations could lead to a battery championship without genuine competition. Newey shared a similar sentiment, expressing concerns about the intense focus on the engines and the lack of attention to the aerodynamic aspects of the chassis in the creation of the regulations.

Despite these concerns, teams like Mercedes and Ferrari have already begun working on the development of the 2026 chassis. They eagerly await the challenges and competition that the new regulations will bring. Red Bull’s previous domination may reach its limits by 2026 as other teams seek to find their own success.
