Charles Leclerc prevê que a Ferrari será competitiva com a Red Bull em Barcelona apesar do duplo abandono decepcionante no GP do Canadá.

Ferrari makes significant improvements this season, emerging as one of the main teams on the grid. Despite a disappointing double DNF in Montreal, the Scuderia Ferrari driver remains optimistic about his chances in the Spanish GP. Red Bull, the current championship leader, had a weak performance in Monaco, but bounced back with a victory in the Canadian GP. This victory gave them a 49-point advantage over Ferrari, which did not score any points at the Gilles-Villeneuve circuit.

However, Charles Leclerc, the Monegasque driver for Ferrari, expressed confidence in his team’s capabilities at the high aerodynamic pressure and fast-paced circuit in Barcelona. Leclerc’s impressive victory in Monte Carlo this year solidified his influence within the Maranello-based team. Both Ferrari and McLaren have shown remarkable progress this season, positioning themselves as strong contenders for the constructor’s championship. However, they face tough competition from Red Bull and Max Verstappen’s exceptional skills, who has already achieved six victories in nine races this season.

Carlos Sainz’s departure from Ferrari at the end of the season was met with disappointment by the former F1 driver. This unexpected move paved the way for seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton to join the team. Carlos Sainz, who has been a consistent performer for Ferrari, had to make way for Hamilton in the hope of injecting new energy into the team. The replacement of Sainz by his teammate Charles Leclerc is believed to be an unfortunate change for the talented Spaniard, as both drivers possess similar caliber and potential.

Since the announcement, Sainz supposedly received offers from various teams, including Williams Racing and Audi, who are eager to have the three-time race winner on their team. However, Sainz has not yet made a decision, as he carefully considers his options for the 2025 season.
