Lando Norris diz que suas chances foram arruinadas pelo safety car no GP do Canadá, apesar de ter chegado em segundo devido ao seu ritmo.

Lando Norris displayed an incredibly impressive performance during the 70-lap race in Montreal. The 2024 Canadian Grand Prix was an exciting and chaotic event, full of incidents with the safety car and breathtaking overtakes. Despite the challenges, Norris believes McLaren missed a golden opportunity to come out victorious.

Finishing in second place behind [driver’s name], Norris’ race was affected by untimely safety cars. However, there was a moment in the race where he had a significant lead over the chasing pack in first position. Unfortunately, the safety car on lap 26 changed the course of Norris’ race.

The disappointment on Norris’ face clearly indicates his frustration with how the Canadian Grand Prix unfolded for him. However, McLaren had a remarkable performance, with Norris securing second place and [teammate’s name] finishing fifth.

Although Norris may seem disheartened by his second place in Montreal, McLaren’s team principal sees the positives. The team has been consistently competitive at the front in recent races. Furthermore, McLaren accumulated an impressive 28 points at the Canadian Grand Prix.

As the championship battle heats up, McLaren finds itself in an exciting three-way fight with Ferrari and Red Bull for the 2024 Constructors’ Championship. The Italian team currently holds a 40-point advantage over McLaren before the Spanish GP.

Considering all these factors, the competition in the championship battle is about to become even more intense. Red Bull managed to secure the victory in Montreal, but Norris and his team are relentlessly chasing them.
