Kyle Larson assume responsabilidade por acidente com Kyle Busch em Gateway em troca acalorada.

Kyle Larson leaves Gateway drama behind. Former champions Kyle Busch and Kyle Larson were involved in a collision during the Enjoy Illinois 300 at Gateway last weekend. The RCR’s Chevy No. 8 suffered significant damage and did not finish the race, while the Chevy No. 5 managed a 10th place. Busch expressed his criticism of Larson after the incident.

Larson, who was mostly to blame for the collision, discussed the incident before this weekend’s race at the Sonoma Road Course. The HMS driver used strong language to express his opinion and stated that if he hadn’t hit Busch from behind, the accident wouldn’t have happened.

Larson mentioned that he had not spoken to Busch about the accident and acknowledged that he may have made Busch feel frustrated, but he did not intend for it to turn into a battle of who would give in first. He described the situation straightforwardly.

He also acknowledged that it was probably his fault that the crash happened and that he irritated the veteran driver with his maneuver. Larson believes he has already moved on from the incident and assumes Busch has too.

One of the main points of discussion before this race was Larson receiving a waiver from NASCAR for missing the Coke 600. However, unlike many in the NASCAR community who were concerned whether the Chevy driver would receive the waiver, Larson was not worried.

The 2021 Cup champion seems to be in good spirits after receiving the waiver for Sonoma and has already moved on from the collision with Busch. It will be interesting to see how Busch and Larson will interact if they meet in the remaining races.
