The seven-time world champion congratulated his teammate and acknowledged that the whole team did a great job during the weekend. Therefore, these improved results will undoubtedly benefit the constructor throughout the season.
The disappointing performance of the Mercedes W15 was still evident at the Canadian Grand Prix. Hamilton’s qualifying position in P7 was definitely disappointing.
