Alpine comenta sobre decisão de se separar de Esteban Ocon após 2024.

Alpine team manager, Bruno Famin, discussed the decision to part ways with Esteban Ocon after the current season. Ocon’s position at Alpine was in jeopardy, especially after the collision in Monaco. The French driver was facing the possibility of being replaced due to his declining performance. The team principal even mentioned that there would be serious consequences for Ocon. However, Ocon has now officially left the French constructor.

Ocon has been with Alpine for the past five years but decided to leave the team. The team principal expressed his gratitude for having had the opportunity to work with the Frenchman. Famin also acknowledged Ocon’s impressive results, including his win in the 2021 race.

Despite Ocon’s departure, there are still 16 races left in the 2024 season. The team is determined to keep working hard and pursue success without Ocon. The team principal wished Ocon all the best in his future endeavors.

Leaving Alpine after so long together would have surely been difficult for Ocon. He shared his thoughts and emotions about the change, stating that he had spent a significant part of his life racing with Alpine. Ocon’s journey with the team began when he was a teenager.

Ocon also reflected on his time at Alpine before departing. He plans to announce his future plans shortly after leaving the team. In the meantime, Ocon will focus on finishing the season with Alpine and will no longer have any responsibilities with the French team.

Although Ocon had disagreements with certain individuals, he always maintained a professional work ethic and took responsibility for his mistakes. With Ocon’s departure, there is speculation about who will be the next Alpine driver and who could consider joining the French constructor in the next season.
