Jeep apresenta o novo Wagoneer S com 482 km de autonomia

Jeep has unveiled the new Wagoneer S, a fully electric SUV that will allow the American brand to continue expanding its presence in the premium segment, focusing on a design that Jeep describes as elegant and aerodynamic, complemented by 4×4 capabilities.

The new Jeep model will arrive in Europe in 2025, based on the STLA Large platform, and equipped with two electric motors, one per axle, delivering a total power of 608 hp and 836 Nm. These figures enable acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds.

To power the two electric motors, Jeep equipped the Wagoneer S with a 100 kWh battery capacity, capable of offering a range of up to 482 km. The battery charging capacity was not revealed, but the American brand mentioned that the model uses a 400V architecture, allowing the battery to be recharged from 5 to 80% in just 28 minutes.

Jeep also announced that the Wagoneer uses new motors developed by Stellantis, described as three-in-one units that combine the motor, transmission, and electronics, and will be mounted on each axle to offer a SelecTerrain traction system with five driving modes, including Snow and Sand.

In addition, the American brand announced that the new platform offers several structural benefits, including over 35% more torsional rigidity compared to previous models from the brand, along with significantly reduced levels of noise and vibrations.

Aesthetically, the Wagoneer S features a body with smoother and more aerodynamic lines, allowing for a drag coefficient of 0.29, the lowest ever for the brand. Additionally, the traditional grille has been redesigned and features seven illuminated filaments. The Jeep Wagoneer S also includes, as standard, a panoramic roof with two independent opening panels.

Inside, the technological approach stands out considering that the new electric SUV from Jeep features a 12.3” instrument panel, a 12.3” infotainment screen, and a 10.25” screen for the front passenger. Additionally, there are physical buttons on the central console, which has a gullwing structure.

The interior also stands out for its premium details, with a spacious cabin, a 866-liter trunk, a two-spoke steering wheel, a McIntosh 19-speaker audio system, complemented by a decoration with black ceramic-coated aluminum in key touchpoints, which Jeep claims are scratch and fingerprint-resistant, along with recycled materials, with the seats and dashboard being made from synthetic materials.
