Max Verstappen compartilha o único ponto positivo para a Red Bull depois do difícil GP de Mônaco.

Red Bull had a disastrous performance at the Monaco GP. Max Verstappen, the three-time world champion, finished in sixth place, marking his worst placement since the Singapore Grand Prix of 2023. The Red Bull team faced difficulties throughout the weekend in Monaco and could not show all of their potential.

Max Verstappen has been dominant this season, winning five out of eight races and leading the drivers’ championship. However, in the last three races, Red Bull has faced strong competition from Ferrari and McLaren, who are closing in on the Austrian team.

During the first lap of the Monaco Grand Prix, a collision with a Haas driver caused a crash for the Red Bull racing driver. This incident forced the Mexican driver to retire early from the race. Max Verstappen was unable to gain positions after the race restart, as the red flag required all drivers to make a mandatory pit stop and continue with a single set of tires.

Verstappen acknowledged after the race that Red Bull is now aware of their issues and can make significant improvements in the upcoming races. The Milton-Keynes-based team will focus on addressing these challenges, aiming to return to their previous high standards in time for the Canadian Grand Prix.

There are reports that Sergio Perez is close to securing a new contract with Red Bull, despite his recent poor performances. The current contract of the Mexican driver expires at the end of the season, and there have been rumors of possible replacements for the next season.

Perez faced difficulties last season, scoring 285 points and finishing 29 points behind Max Verstappen. However, this season he has shown a resurgence in form, achieving four podiums in eight races. Unfortunately, he struggled in Imola and Monaco, scoring only four points in Imola and retiring from the race in Monaco. The future of the experienced driver is uncertain, as a decision will be made after the Spanish Grand Prix, according to the Technical Consultant of Red Bull.
