Jos Verstappen sugere que a Red Bull F1 deve começar a se concentrar na competição real.

Jos Verstappen advised Red Bull to shift their focus back to racing, suggesting that their dominance in Formula 1 seems to be waning after the Monaco Grand Prix. Red Bull had been the team to beat, winning almost every race last season since the introduction of ground-effect cars. However, in recent weeks, both Ferrari and McLaren have secured victories with their updated cars. Red Bull faced challenges in Monaco, with Max Verstappen finishing in sixth place due to difficulties navigating the bumps and curbs of the street circuit. As a result, the gap in the Constructors’ Championship has narrowed to 24 points, and Charles Leclerc is now 31 points behind Verstappen. Jos Verstappen believes Red Bull should stop getting distracted by off-track drama and instead focus on their on-track performance. He emphasized the need for improved communication and a renewed focus on racing. While he acknowledges that there will still be races where Red Bull will perform well, he expressed curiosity about how the team will address their current issues, as it is clear that Ferrari and McLaren are closing in. Verstappen also highlighted the growing disparity between Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez. Max Verstappen has been able to mask some of Red Bull’s problems, but the differences between him and Perez are becoming more apparent. Verstappen raised concerns about the balance of the RB20 car in the last three races, stressing that there is no quick fix for their driving issues. Despite expecting Red Bull to bounce back in the upcoming races, Jos Verstappen emphasized the importance of finding a solution to their limitations. It is crucial for Red Bull to identify the root of their problems, especially as Ferrari and McLaren continue to pose a threat.
