Max Verstappen e a Red Bull podem não mais estar dominando a F1.

Max Verstappen and Red Bull’s chances of winning the F1 world championship this year no longer seem favorable. In the era of ground effect, Red Bull and Verstappen have been dominant, with Verstappen winning three consecutive titles since 2021. However, this season has proven to be more challenging for the reigning champion.

After a remarkable performance in 2023, it seemed like Verstappen and Red Bull would continue their unstoppable streak this year. However, both Ferrari and McLaren have closed the gap on Milton Keynes, as the team has lost the expertise of Adrian Newey.

Verstappen started the 2024 F1 season strong, winning four of the first five races. However, Red Bull has faced more difficulties since then, losing three of the eight races so far. It seems like their days of domination in F1 may be over.

Red Bull was at the forefront of car development during the ground effect era, giving them a significant advantage over their rivals in recent seasons. However, as other teams close in, Red Bull has lost its edge. Additionally, Verstappen himself has expressed discomfort with the recent updates.

Verstappen’s recent performance in Imola and Monaco has raised concerns. He was almost overtaken in Imola and made a rare mistake during qualifying in Monaco. Red Bull even risks falling behind in the development race if they cannot extract more speed from the RB20.

However, there is hope that the upcoming races will bring a change of luck for Red Bull. The RB20 may adapt better to other tracks, providing a crucial moment for Verstappen and his team to prove themselves without the guidance of Adrian Newey. On the other hand, Verstappen will face a challenge for the title, something he has not experienced since defeating Lewis Hamilton in 2021.

It is evident that Red Bull’s path to victory will not be easier. Verstappen and Red Bull find themselves in a difficult position with 16 races remaining in 2024. Fans can anticipate an exciting title battle between Red Bull, McLaren, and Ferrari.
