VÍDEO: Charles Leclerc empurra Fred Vasseur no Porto de Mônaco ao comemorar vitória no Grande Prêmio de Mônaco

Charles Leclerc achieved an impressive feat during the 2024 Monaco Grand Prix. He made history by becoming the first Monegasque driver to win the recently concluded race. Throughout the 78 laps of the race, the 26-year-old driver showcased exceptional skills and determination.

Leclerc had started in pole position on two previous occasions, but luck was not on his side, preventing him from clinching a victory. However, this season, the Monegasque driver displayed a remarkable performance that set him apart from the other drivers on the grid during the Monaco race weekend. He secured pole position on Saturday and maintained the lead throughout all 78 laps.

The Ferrari team boss was impressed by Leclerc’s outstanding performance and enthusiastically joined in the celebrations. In a moment of celebration, the Monegasque driver playfully pushed him into the Monaco Harbor. Additionally, the team’s other driver also secured a place on the podium, securing third place in the race. It was an incredibly successful weekend for the Tifosi.

To celebrate his victory in Monaco, Charles Leclerc took a refreshing dip in the harbor, without waiting for anyone’s permission. Ferrari has now won two races this season, with Leclerc and another driver, Sainz, showcasing their brilliance. The Italian racing team is now in a tight competition with Red Bull Racing in the constructors’ championship. They aim to maintain their impressive form for the remainder of the 2024 season.

During the Monaco Grand Prix, a collision between a Red Bull Racing driver and a Haas F1 team driver caused a red flag on the first lap. The accident also affected another Haas driver. Kevin Magnussen, who currently has ten penalty points, five of which were obtained at the Miami Grand Prix for going off track and gaining an unfair advantage, explained that it was Perez who pushed him towards the wall, leaving him with no room to maneuver. However, helmet cameras on Hulkenberg revealed that it was actually Magnussen who tried to overtake the Mexican driver through an insufficient gap for an F1 car.

Magnussen is now just two points away from a race ban in F1 and must learn to race fairly for the benefit of the Haas F1 team. Overall, the Monaco GP was a memorable event for teams like Ferrari and McLaren, while teams like Alpine and Haas had a forgettable weekend. The next race on the F1 calendar is the Canadian GP.
