George Russell revela amor de Charles Leclerc por Harry Potter.

The exchange started with a question about the pilots’ favorite movies, leading Leclerc to admit that Harry Potter was his top choice.

George Russell inadvertently revealed Charles Leclerc’s admiration for Harry Potter just before the Monaco Grand Prix.

During a press conference with F1 stars, including Leclerc and Max Verstappen, Russell shared a video of their karting days with Leclerc, recorded 12 years ago.

Russell explained, somewhat embarrassed, that the video was made during their teenage years.

The discussion began with a question about the pilots’ favorite movies, which led Leclerc to confess that Harry Potter was his favorite.

Leclerc, now 26, stated: “Actually, Harry Potter was probably my favorite when I was a child and it is still one of my favorite movies.

“I knew the lines when I was 10… everyone told me I looked like Harry Potter too.”

Russell then added: “One of the first videos I have on my phone is of Charles in 2012.

“It was in Ortona and you put the broom between your legs and were doing the wizard imitation.”

The video, showing Leclerc pretending to be a wizard, drew laughter from the panel.

However, unlike Verstappen and others, Leclerc did not find it funny. The Ferrari driver retorted: “Keep that video for yourself.”

Social media exploded with excitement, eager to see the full clip. Even Russell’s team, Mercedes, joined in the fun, tweeting: “Sorry, @Charles_Leclerc, but we need to see this video, @GeorgeRussell63.”

This incident occurred just before Leclerc’s home Grand Prix in Monaco, where he currently holds the second position in the Drivers’ Championship.

Leclerc has not won a Grand Prix in almost two years, with his last victory coming in Austria in 2022.

He hopes to redeem himself on the streets of Monaco, but faces strong competition from Verstappen, the current championship leader, who has won four of the six races this season.

Furthermore, Lando Norris, who is in great form, is also a strong contender, coming to the Monaco GP with three consecutive podium finishes.

Norris emerged victorious at the Miami GP earlier this month, followed by two second places.

Practice sessions begin on Friday, with qualifying on Saturday, culminating in the main event on Sunday.
