Tsunoda: Red Bull Racing mira superar competidores da Fórmula 1 da Aston Martin.

Yuki Tsunoda, Japanese driver for RB, expressed his team’s goal of surpassing Aston Martin in terms of development. Aston Martin had a disappointing Saturday in Monaco, with Fernando Alonso being eliminated in Q1 and Lance Stroll finishing second to last in Q2. Tsunoda, on the other hand, had another impressive performance in qualifying and made it to Q3. RB’s strong qualifying performances have put pressure on Aston Martin, which has been struggling despite the upgrades. Tsunoda sees Aston Martin as his main competitors and was surprised by their drop in pace during qualifying. Tsunoda himself found it challenging to keep up with the increase in pace during qualifying, but managed to secure eighth place. Aston Martin’s qualifying problems suggest they may not score points in the race, while Tsunoda has the chance to earn some points from his starting position. The gap between RB and Aston Martin in the Constructors’ standings is narrowing, with RB scoring more than Aston Martin in the last two races. Tsunoda believes RB is not far behind in terms of car pace and hopes to consistently stay ahead of Aston Martin. Falling behind RB would be a disaster for Aston Martin, which aims to challenge the top teams. On the other hand, RB’s success would help establish them as a team with their own goals, separate from Red Bull’s driver development program.
