Despite having Max Verstappen from Red Bull starting alongside him on the grid, Russell is focused on progressing and aiming for a place on the podium. He believes that strategy will be crucial and that a bit of luck, like a Safety Car period or Virtual Safety Car, can make a difference. Although overtaking opportunities are limited in Monaco, Russell believes that being quick in the pit stops and effectively managing tire wear will be key to achieving success.
