Sainz acredita que Leclerc merece vencer em Mônaco, e está disposto a ajudá-lo.

The Monaco Ferrari driver had a tough history in his home race. Despite having secured pole position twice before, his chances of victory were frustrated both times. Qualifying in Monaco is known to be the most important and exciting part of the weekend, as the street circuit makes overtaking extremely difficult. For Leclerc, the pressure is even higher as he carries the weight of his principality’s expectations. He believes that the tension during qualifying in Monaco is the highest of the entire season. Despite past disappointments, Leclerc is optimistic about his chances this weekend.

In 2021, Leclerc secured pole position but couldn’t start due to a transmission shaft failure. In 2022, he again secured the top spot, but finished fourth. This Sunday could be his third opportunity to win, but he is cautious about creating expectations. Leclerc’s priority was to secure the correct starting position, which he managed. However, he knows he cannot afford to think about winning the race just yet.

Before qualifying, Ferrari replaced Leclerc’s engine without incurring penalties after discovering an issue. Leclerc also had a strange feeling in the pedals, but the problem was resolved. His teammate, Carlos Sainz, who will start in third position, expressed his support for Leclerc’s victory. Sainz believes that Leclerc deserves to win in Monaco after his unlucky history in the race. He hopes that nothing goes wrong on race day and that they can secure a victory with Leclerc.
