Hyundai has once again stood out in the international automotive scene by having the new Hyundai IONIQ 6 N recognized as World Performance Car 2026, consolidating its position as one of the most innovative brands in the electric era.
The award was presented during the New York International Auto Show 2026, reinforcing a consistent streak of global recognition for the South Korean brand.
Second victory in three years for the N division
This award marks the second time in just three years that a model from Hyundai's N sports division has won this distinction, following the Hyundai IONIQ 5 N being awarded in 2024.
Additionally, the brand has now achieved five consecutive years of distinctions in the World Car Awards, highlighting the consistency of its innovation strategy.
High-level electric performance
The Hyundai IONIQ 6 N has distinguished itself by redefining the concept of performance in electric mobility, combining high power with advanced driver-centric technology.
Among the key figures:
- Up to 641 hp with the N Grin Boost function
- Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds
- 84 kWh battery with charging from 10% to 80% in about 18 minutes
Technology focused on the driving experience

These technologies aim to bring the driver closer to the traditional emotional experience, even in a 100% electric context.
Hyundai strengthens global leadership
The distinction of the IONIQ 6 N joins a series of recent awards for the brand, including:
- IONIQ 6 – World Car of the Year 2023
