Haas disqualified: Update in the Monaco Grand Prix results in rule violation.

Haas drivers, Nico Hulkenberg and Kevin Magnussen, were disqualified from the Monaco Grand Prix after the team made an error in ensuring the legality of their updated rear wing. The team had introduced a new high-pressure aerodynamic rear wing for the race, but a post-qualifying inspection revealed that the adjustable positions of the upper element of the rear wing exceeded the maximum allowed limit of 85mm. Haas admitted to an error in adjusting the wing opening during a hearing with the stewards. The team had previously designed the wing to comply with regulations, measuring the largest opening from the center of the wing, but with the new design, the largest opening was at the ends of the wing. The mechanics had not been trained to adjust the opening according to the new design. Despite Haas being transparent about their mistake and the FIA technical team being satisfied with their explanation, disqualification was automatic, following the standard procedure for technical infractions.
