Hello, welcome to my webpage!

Lewis Hamilton secured sixth place in Imola, one position ahead of his teammate George Russell, and finished 35 seconds behind the race winner, Max Verstappen. Toto Wolff, the head of the Mercedes team, believes that they will need help from the three teams ahead of them to compete for a podium spot in Monaco this weekend. After the first seven races of the season, the Silver Arrows currently sit in fourth place in the constructors’ championship. The result in Imola last weekend confirmed their current level of performance compared to their rivals. Hamilton’s Red Bull team faced a strong challenge from McLaren, while Ferrari remained out of reach for Mercedes. Despite Monaco’s unique characteristics, Wolff still predicts that his team will struggle in a direct battle against the top teams. Therefore, Hamilton and Russell are encouraged to seize any opportunities that may arise. Wolff stated that the progress made in Imola was encouraging, and the team made significant efforts to bring their recent updates to the track, resulting in a clear improvement in performance. However, other teams have also made progress. Wolff acknowledged that they are still one step behind the three leading teams, but they have a clear direction and planned future developments. Now they have a stronger foundation to build on and are confident they can reach the front pack soon. This weekend in Monaco, the team will continue their work. It is a unique circuit and presents a fantastic challenge for both the team and the drivers. Although it is difficult to predict their expected performance, they aim to have a flawless weekend and maximize the potential of their car. When asked about Norris’ challenge this weekend, Wolff responded by saying that Monaco is completely different and therefore there is no comparison. However, he acknowledged that the performance difference between his team and Norris’ team is now very close, emphasizing the importance of flawless execution on the track in Monte Carlo. Max Verstappen also commented on Monaco, describing it as always very hectic. He emphasized the need to stand out in qualifying, ensure the tires work well when it matters, and highlighted the generally tricky nature of the circuit. Verstappen concluded by stating that Monaco is very special in that sense.
