Leclerc: Ferrari enfrenta fraqueza na estratégia de potência da F1.

Hello, how are you today?

Welcome to my website

Charles Leclerc, the driver representing Monaco for the Ferrari SF-24 team, revealed that Ferrari is working to replicate the use of the engine that gave an advantage to their Formula 1 competitors during the qualifying session in Imola last weekend. Ferrari initially emerged as the team to beat during the practices for the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, with Leclerc using his updated SF-24 car to lead the first two sessions. However, both Leclerc and his Ferrari teammate, Carlos Sainz, failed to maintain their performance and ended up qualifying behind Max Verstappen from Red Bull and the McLaren drivers. Data analysis revealed that Ferrari’s main obstacle occurred in the first sector, where Leclerc stated that the team lost valuable time during the long stretch leading up to Tamburello. Leclerc, who secured third place on the starting grid, emphasized that a disadvantage in straight-line speed had a detrimental impact on Ferrari’s overall performance in the race. He stated: “Upon reviewing the qualifying session, it seems like we basically lost it all in the beginning. For some reason, our power strategy differed from McLaren and Red Bull, and we lost crucial time during the race towards Turn 2. Additionally, Max benefited from having a slipstream.” Leclerc revealed that this issue has been recurring in previous races this season, but hinted that Ferrari’s thorough analysis after the race in Imola had provided potential solutions. However, Leclerc warned that the issue that prevented Ferrari from securing pole position last weekend will not be a concern in Monaco, as the distance to the first corner is shorter. He stated: “It’s not something we should worry about. Although we noticed it to some extent in the last race and in Jeddah, I believe it has more to do with how we manage everything, and it’s not a short-term unchangeable situation. Therefore, we need to investigate further, but it’s not a significant problem. However, it seems that Red Bull and McLaren had a more favorable outcome in Imola, and we lost some time because of it. We have thoroughly analyzed the situation, and I don’t believe it will make a significant difference here in Monaco. The circumstances are very different. However, it may have an impact on the rest of the season. Therefore, we have conducted a comprehensive internal analysis, and I am confident that we will learn from it and improve.”
