Frota multi-energia da Iveco eletrifica tour europeia dos Metallica
The Iveco is about to join Metallica on the European leg of the band’s “M72 World Tour,” as part of a partnership announced last November in Barcelona. Iveco will electrify the European tour of the band enshrined in the “Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame,” and together the two parties will promote the reduction of CO2 emissions and support the communities where the concerts will take place, through their shared commitment, carrying out sustainable actions. Iveco models will transport the band and their equipment to the concert venues scheduled for Munich, Milan, Vienna, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Oslo, Clisson, Warsaw, and Madrid. For this purpose, Iveco provides electric and natural gas heavy trucks S-eWay and S-Way Metallica Special Edition, customized with a specifically designed paint scheme, featuring the colors of the band’s album “72 Seasons.” The matte black body is highlighted by a bright yellow finish on the side section of the cabin, while the front grille sports the iconic Metallica logo in brushed tone.

“We are very pleased to be ‘on the road’ with the amazing Metallica. Our alternative propulsion vehicles, powered by Shell’s low-carbon fuel solutions, will help reduce the band’s carbon footprint during the European dates of their ‘M72’ tour. The multi-energy fleet, customized with special ‘Metallica’ decoration, will serve as an important ambassador for sustainable transportation as it travels the roads of Europe and concert venues.”, highlighted Luca Sra, president of Iveco Group’s truck business unit,
