Lamborghini revela os primeiros detalhes do V8 do sucessor do Huracán
The Lamborghini is ready to say goodbye to the Huracán and the V10 engine, and it is already known that its successor, which is expected to be named Temerario, known for now by the code name Lamborghini 634, will join the High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) range, and be equipped with a twin-turbo V8 engine, along with a hybrid system that incorporates three electric motors and the eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox recently debuted in the Lamborghini Revuelto, optimized for the new model.
The new engine, designed from scratch in Sant’Agata Bolognese, promises to offer performance and driving excitement that surpasses the current Huracán range. The twin-turbo V8 combines the smooth progression, which made the Lamborghini V10 famous, with the high power and specific torque of a new generation turbocharged engine.Little is known about the new engine, but the Italian brand has already announced that the V8 twin-turbo has a displacement of 4.0 liters and a specific power of 200 hp/liter. The maximum power available will be 800 hp, between 9000 and 9750 rpm, reaching a maximum operating speed of 10,000 rpm: a value normally reserved for competition engines, making the new V8 unique in the world of supercars designed for road use. It is also unique in terms of delivering a maximum torque of 730 Nm between 4000 and 7000 rpm.

The rear electric system, designed and developed for the new V8, is mounted between the combustion engine and the dual-clutch gearbox, and includes the inverter and the axial electric unit. Lamborghini promises that the electric system will be able to generate 150 hp of power and a torque of 300 Nm at 3500 rpm.

The launch of the successor to the Hurácan is expected to take place in August, and represents another step in the brand’s journey towards electrification.
