Sergio Perez rejeita oferta de extensão de contrato de um ano da Red Bull.

Sergio Perez determined to secure long-term deal with Milton Keynes.

Christian Horner, team principal of Red Bull, and Sergio Perez (via IMAGO), have been part of Red Bull since 2021. The Mexican driver has played the perfect role as a secondary driver for the team. However, Perez’s future with Milton Keynes is uncertain, as other drivers, such as [insert name], will become free agents next season. Now, Perez has decided to make demands to Red Bull regarding his contract renewal.

Perez’s current contract expires at the end of this year. [Insert name] had previously stated that the Austrian team was considering various options. It was reported earlier that Red Bull rejected Perez’s initial demands. However, according to reports, Milton Keynes was willing to offer him a one-year extension.

However, it is believed that Perez was not interested in signing another one-year contract. Perez’s legal team presented a counterproposal for a two-year contract, but Red Bull immediately rejected it.

Red Bull has shown confidence in Sergio Perez this season. The Mexican driver has achieved impressive second places so far. Although he has not won a race, Christian Horner confirmed that Milton Keynes was aware of all options for partnerships next season.

Furthermore, Horner stated that Red Bull will make their decision at the right time. The Red Bull team principal mentioned that Perez has always been easy to work with and that there should be no issues during negotiations. However, Horner did not comment on the rumors about the mentioned disagreement.

Without a doubt, Sergio Perez would like to continue in Milton Keynes in the near future. If negotiations reach an impasse, the Mexican driver will end up having to accept Red Bull’s terms. It will be interesting to see if and when the two parties will reach an agreement on a new contract.
