Norris: McLaren’s Formula 1 team suffered consequences from the setup of the Imola Grand Prix.

Lando Norris, the British driver for McLaren, expressed his disappointment with the team’s decision to set up his Formula 1 car MCL38 for colder conditions at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix in Imola. Norris struggled with the balance of his car and the performance of his tires during the race, which ultimately cost him the chance of victory. Despite a late challenge to Max Verstappen, Norris finished less than a second behind the Dutchman at the checkered flag. Reflecting on the race, Norris acknowledged that the team could have better prepared for the hotter conditions and increased degradation of the rear tires. However, he remains optimistic about McLaren’s recent performances and looks forward to the upcoming races.
