Nico Hulkenberg, the German driver for the Haas F1 team, admitted that he considered staying with the team for the 2025 Formula 1 season. However, he ended up signing a contract with Sauber to be part of Audi’s venture. Hulkenberg had been away from F1 since 2019, but Haas provided him with the opportunity to return last season. He had discussions with Haas team boss Ayao Komatsu about a possible contract extension, but ultimately chose a different path.
