Quartararo satisfeito com evento inaugural competitivo de MotoGP 2024 em Le Mans

The Yamaha MotoGP rider, Fabio Quartararo, expressed his satisfaction with his performance at the French MotoGP Grand Prix, stating that it was the first race this year where he felt competitive. Despite crashing late in the race, Quartararo believed it was a positive weekend. He was pleased to be fighting with riders he used to compete against, such as Aleix Espargaro. Although he crashed while Maverick Vinales and Marc Marquez were ahead, Quartararo was content with his sixth place position and gave his best in the race.

Yamaha made significant changes to Quartararo’s bike setup, hoping to provide him with a new experience. Although he didn’t notice a drastic difference, he felt small improvements. Quartararo believed that this new setup could become their base and was eager to test it on different tracks. Despite some challenges with the electronic settings and the weight of the bike, Quartararo felt they were making progress in addressing these issues.

Quartararo emphasized the psychological boost he gained from being able to compete at the front of the grid, even if he didn’t finish the race. Fighting with Aleix Espargaro and seeing the podium contenders ahead gave him confidence for the upcoming races. He acknowledged that there is still a long way to go in his journey of improvement, but remained optimistic about the progress.
