Renovado Mazda MX-5 com mais potência e estilo

Mazda has revealed that the renewed MX-5 has now arrived in the national market, with units available for immediate delivery, starting at prices of €35,947.

The renewed MX-5 comes with its traditional exterior image enhanced by a luminous signature with LED technology, with more advanced front optics, integrating daytime running lights for improved visibility, and redesigned rear lights.

Another novelty is the Aero Grey Metallic exterior color, which in the case of the roadster version now comes with a beige top. In addition, the MX-5 now features new 16’’ wheels, Black in the entry level, Prime-Line, and Silver in the other equipment levels, Exclusive-Line and Kazari.

Regarding the interiors and focusing on the Special Edition Kazari, the upholstery is in Nappa Tan (brown), complementing the offer in the rest of the range, which includes seats covered in Leganu, a new material that is more grippy and prevents body slippage in more dynamic driving situations. The cockpit of the new Mazda MX-5 ST and RF models feature a frameless rearview mirror, an 8.8’’ touchscreen multimedia display, compatible with Android Auto and Apple Car Play, a redesigned instrument panel, and two USB-C ports.

In terms of mechanics, in the national market, only the version equipped with the 1.5-liter Skyactiv-G gasoline engine will be available, with a power of 132 hp at 7000 rpm and a maximum torque of 152 Nm at 4500 rpm. The power is transmitted to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox.

These numbers allow the ST version to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 204 km/h, while the RF variant covers the distance in 8.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 204 km/h.

Novelty is the new asymmetric limited-slip differential that equips the versions equipped with a six-speed manual transmission, as well as the Dynamic Stability Control (DSC)-Track mode prioritizes the driver, applying oversteer control only in the event that the driver is unable to correct the vehicle’s position in a demanding curve.
