Adamastor já tem data para apresentação do desportivo português

The Adamastor Furia, a new Portuguese supercar resulting from a €17 million investment, will be presented on Tuesday in Matosinhos.

The two-seater sports model, based on the P003 RL prototype presented in 2019, was developed in Parafita, Porto, and is entirely made of carbon, with a mid-engine and rear-wheel drive. It will have two versions, one for the track and another for the road, limited to 60 units.

The Portuguese supercar was designed with a significant focus on aerodynamics, and for that, the design department had total creative freedom to develop the bodywork, aiming for efficiency and performance in sports driving. Subsequently, the engineering team focused on defining spaces for the main components, with collaboration from other departments such as dynamics, powertrain, interior, and structures, optimizing space and performance. Aerodynamic surfaces in carbon fiber, a Venturi effect bottom, and the overall design were refined through CFD simulations, including 125 different cases, to maximize downforce and minimize the need for additional components like ailerons.

Adamastor has completed over 30,000 laps to fine-tune, in detail, and enhance the performance of its ‘supercar’, validating the chassis behavior and its dynamics under the most demanding conditions of use. Objectives were even defined in terms of lap times in the simulator, records that were easily surpassed by Adamastor’s supercar.

The Portuguese brand has not yet revealed details of the Furia, which will be known tomorrow during the presentation of the Portuguese supercar.
