António Félix da Costa achieved his first victory of the Formula E season this Sunday at the Berlin ePrix. It could have been in Misano, if it weren’t for a disqualification, but after some setbacks he finally managed to finish on the top step of the podium. To do so, he made a comeback, taking the lead definitively on the 36th of the 41 laps.

The TAG Heuer Porsche driver did not hide his joy with the result, highlighting the resilience he has shown in 2024: ‘An incredible race, an incredible day! I think resilience is the word of the season. I think I have already shown several times that things can be turned around, that giving up is never an option. And, once again today, we walked in that direction’.

Next, Félix da Costa stated: ‘Being able to win here in a very dominant way at the team’s home race makes me very competitive. It was a shame we lost that victory in Misano after that disqualification because with those 25 points we would clearly be in the championship fight. But that’s how it is, things happen like that and we have six races left until the end of the year, and many things can happen’.

The 2020 champion also expressed his gratitude: ‘Thank you all for the support, it’s amazing to feel – especially in the tough moments you help me to come back, and to thank everyone who supports me, my sponsors. And we are here always fighting’.
