Jorge Martin emerged victorious in an intense three-way battle against Marc Marquez and Pecco Bagnaia at the French Grand Prix MotoGP. The fight for the lead between Martin, the current points leader, and defending champion Bagnaia intensified in the final stages of the race at Le Mans when Marquez, starting from 13th on the grid, joined the fray. Bagnaia had a good start, overtaking Martin at the first corner and establishing a small advantage. However, Martin caught up to him and made several attempts to take the lead. Marquez, who made impressive progress through the pack, quickly closed in on the leaders. In the end, Martin held off his rivals and secured his second win of the season, extending his lead in the championship standings. Marquez finished in second place, matching his best result of the season, while Bagnaia came in third.
