The current FIA Formula E world champion, Jake Dennis, secured his first pole position of the season ahead of the second race of the Berlin E-Prix double-header weekend.

Dennis has struggled in qualifying throughout Season 10, but managed to put it all together to clinch pole position, setting the stage for an exciting race.

Nick Cassidy of Jaguar TCS Racing, who won the first race, will start alongside Dennis on the front row of the grid. Norman Nato of Andretti will begin in third, followed by Mitch Evans of Jaguar in fourth, Stoffel Vandoorne in fifth, and Max Günther in sixth.

Pascal Wehrlein will start in seventh, with Edoardo Mortara, who secured pole position on Saturday, in eighth. Jean-Éric Vergne of DS Penske will start in ninth, with Antonio Felix da Costa battling for tenth place.

HOW QUALIFYING UNFOLDED

GROUP A

Cassidy continued his strong performance from Saturday, leading Group A with a lap time of 1:02.544s, just a tenth of a second ahead of Günther. Evans finished in third, while Mortara once again showed impressive pace on a single lap, securing fourth place with an identical lap time. Antonio Felix da Costa and Oliver Rowland were the unlucky victims, finishing in fifth and eighth place respectively, with da Costa missing out by a mere six hundredths of a second.

GROUP B

After a series of disappointing results in qualifying, both Andretti drivers advanced in Group B, with Dennis taking first place and Nato in second. Vandoorne finished in third place, followed by Wehrlein in fourth. Jean-Éric Vergne failed to advance to the knockout stage, while Taylor Barnard was three tenths away from qualifying.

KNOCKOUTS

The first knockout was between Evans and Günther, with neither driver setting an impressive lap time. Evans managed to secure the fastest time, beating Günther by a tenth of a second.

The second knockout was an intriguing battle between Mortara, who secured pole position on Saturday, and Cassidy, who won the first race. However, Mortara couldn’t keep up with Cassidy’s performance and finished two tenths of a second behind.

The third knockout was between Vandoorne and Nato. Despite Nato’s first appearance in a knockout since the start of the season, Vandoorne maintained his momentum from the group stage and advanced by less than a tenth of a second.

In a Porsche powertrain battle between Wehrlein and Dennis, the second Andretti driver pulled off an impressive turnaround, securing a time of 1:02.049, a tenth faster than Wehrlein’s lap time, who was hindered by an off lap and a touch on the wall in turn two.

SEMIFINALS

In the first internal team duel, Evans and Cassidy competed for Jaguar’s supremacy on the grid. Cassidy’s cleanest lap secured him a spot in the final, finishing a tenth of a second ahead of his compatriot and teammate.

In the all-Andretti duel, Nato seemed poised to secure his first spot in this year’s final, but a mistake in the middle of his lap allowed Dennis to advance by just two hundredths of a second.

FINAL

Cassidy had a strong initial sector, but a weak second sector left him at a disadvantage. Despite a confusing final sector, Dennis secured pole position by two tenths of a second, earning crucial points for his title defense and setting the stage for possible further success in the race.

Shocking events occurred last night during the soccer match between rival teams, Flamengo and Vasco. The game, which took place at Maracanã stadium, was marked by a series of violent incidents that left fans horrified.

Early in the match, a widespread brawl broke out among fans of both teams. The police struggled to control the situation and several people were injured. Ambulances were called to assist the wounded and the match had to be temporarily halted.

After the game resumed, more disturbances occurred in the stands. Fans were seen throwing objects at each other and even invading the field. Stadium security was reinforced, but the situation still spiraled out of control.

At the end of the game, Vasco emerged victorious with a 2-1 win over Flamengo. However, the victory was overshadowed by the violent events that took place during the match. Authorities are investigating the incidents and promise to take measures to prevent such a thing from happening again.

Fans are outraged by the behavior of those involved in the brawl and are calling for severe punishment for those responsible. The rivalry between Flamengo and Vasco is well-known, but that does not justify the violence that occurred last night. It is important to remember that soccer is a sport and should be enjoyed in a peaceful and respectful manner.

We hope that authorities take the necessary measures to ensure the safety of fans in future games. The rivalry between teams should not be an excuse for violence. Football is a national passion and should be a source of joy and fun for everyone.

Stay tuned for more updates on this incident and keep following our website to get the latest news from the sports world.
